Let's face it, anyone who can identify as one of the letters in that acronym is labeled by a lot of people as "not normal" or different or weird. Some people flat out don't understand how one person can be born with a vagina but feel like (or rather, know) they should have a penis (my family included in this) or how someone can be attracted to the same gender. I think because society thinks of us as different and abnormal, that we are all placed together.
