Okay, as much as I don't like talking about, uh, 'womanly happenings'  'down there', i have a question to ask. I had seen this a while ago somewhere but I think it's lost in the boards.

So, I know it is different for everyone, but how long (or many 'periods') did it take since starting T until you didn't have the Red Death coming by anymore? What's you story involving this and how/when it stopped?

I'm coming up on almost a month since last 'period' (ugh), and it usually happens at the beginning of the month, so i'm hoping i am just super lucky and don't get it now (or at least be a little lighter than the niagra falls it usually it), especially since i just started classes again with a class full of guys =(   (I started T right at the end of my last 'cycle' so it's been about 4-5 weeks so i'm 'due' any day now =(  )

I stopped at around 4 months. They were regular and very much like all other previous periods...except before I started T I was irregular, getting one once every 30 days, 2 months, 3 months...never consistent. I had the first about a week after T, then around 1 month, 2 months, and a little over 3 months. The 4th month I didn't have one, and haven't had another yet (I'm currently seven and a half months on T).

It's been 3 months on T for me, and I'm still getting them, although they're lighter.  Other changes seem to be happening pretty quickly, but that's still there.  I also always had very heavy ones though, and endometriosis and PCOS.  That might have something to do with the timeline.

After I started T, the first one was normal, but 4-5 days late.  The second was VERY light and about 30 days later.  Still have time before the next would be due...keeping my fingers crossed since this will be on increased dose and my endo says it should stop before my next appointment which is in ....3 weeks?

Mine stopped immediately. When I started T I was 3 weeks away from being due, and never got it.

I started T in Dec 09 and had my last period in Jan 10.  Didn't get one in Feb.

After I started T, my next period was due about 3 weeks after starting T and at that time, I had some light spotting for about 2 weeks and then it stopped completely and haven't had anything since.

2 months... then it returned once more, 5 months later. I was on a low dose though.

I had PCOS and a larger ovarian cyst, so they got heavier and more painful (but never regular) as I've got older. About a month after starting T, I got a lighter, less painful "visit", but no more since.

I had one last one on T and then I was done. So a month or less.

I was on half dose at that point, too. Looking at some of these, I'm feeling lucky.

Well to be honest, and most of you will hate me for this, but the moment i stuck that needle into my leg it disappeared. i get cramps every now and again but no more flow of the river ya know. its different for everyone. ->-bleeped-<- someone i know didnt stop his till a year later cause he was taking too much T.

Been on since January 28th T. Gotten a period every 3 weeks since, then they stopped for 7 weeks, thought it was done, got another one, then bam another 3 weeks later.. got another one. If anything T has made my cycle more regular. I think I've had 5 or 6 since starting T.. which would have been unusual for me pre T. Anyhow.

I dislike it but it's not the end of the world. If it doesn't stop in another month or two I'll ask for progesterone.

I got my last period a week after my T injection. It came with really bad cramps and moodswings, but I haven't gotten another since.
