There was much to be said for coming out in 1969 before the invention (social constructing) of "transgender".
Life was much simpler before the constructing of "identity" as something with meaning.
One was either transsexual and got a sex change operation or a queen and didn't. queens may have lived out their lives as women with breast implants, facial surgery, even castration, but they were honest about liking their dicks whether for purposes of sex with men or with women.
->-bleeped-<-s, well they were heterosexual men who dressed up for what ever reason and spew a combination of rationalization (I am not a ->-bleeped-<-got. I only do this to relieve tension etc) and homophobia as well as a whole lot of hatred of transsexuals who do not live up to their particular fantasies.
