How do you keep a job that drives you crazy. Today I almost quit my job when my boss called me a liar. I work in contruction and the superintendint told the owner of the company that i work for taht i was always late to work which is not the case. I cant keep the facade of manhood up much longer. Every night i cry myself to sleep worring about getting a car so i can get back into school and get a good job to pay for my transition. I just don't know if i can stay with this job much longer.

If you are fortunate enough to have a job, you should keep it if at all possible, until a better one comes along. Facing the prospect of homelessness because of no money to pay for anything every day is not fun.

If there is any way to document when you get to work, use it. Maybe there are other workers who can vouch for you always being on time. Really gotta cover your ass in this world... Going to school doesn't guarantee a job either (I know this from experience...). Just keep fighting the good fight and hopefully there will be opportunities for all of us soon.

I know I can't quit yet. I just get so depressed on site I feel like an outsider now, I had this job for 8yrs but I recently have began to lose something from my shield of lies. It seems like since I came out to myself, I have begun to sabatage my male life it took me 20yrs to build though I may destroy with out meaning to.

Could it be possible that someone you work with could be trying to sabotage you? Take stock of where you are and what you have to do to function at work and pay attention to what others say. Not everybody is your friend-especially in the construction trades-been there done that. I am a plumber/electrician (or have been for many many years and still have my license although I am doing marketing for a large corporation right now) by trade and have seen just about every possible scenario you could get into at one time or another.

It is easier to find a new job if you have a job now than if you don't.

I hate it when bosses think they can push people around.
