I wanted to reach out to all of you to share a short video piece we produced about a dynamic group of transgender Latina women and one young gay man who are all competing for a coveted transgender beauty pageant crown in Orange County (one of the most conservative in the U.S.). The beauty pageant — with a special focus on HIV/AIDS -- is one of the longest running of its kind.
