Meghan Foote felt as if she was exiled from her own faith when she was told she would not be ordained because she was transsexual.

Foote, 46, of Greeley, was told by the Presbyterian Church that despite her qualifications to join the seminary and her clear calling to the ministry, she was going to be rejected.

"I very much felt as if I had been put out from the promised land and sent adrift in the world," Foote said.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
