@Tekla, the way you sounded SO spunky, and into that fab environment just meant -- L.A. José ! :-)
So it's SF, 'k...
LA's a big spread, and SF has soul --- or some such, yes?
In my finding, the many times I was there in the late 90s and early 2000, it gave me a more benign pic. Though I stayed mostly out in the valley, Cupertino, Mountain View, Santa Cruz even and such.
Maybe I missed the night live scene?
LA daily life = night live.
Like bring it on honey, and shake your booty. :-)
So, you would have some tuned-in shrinks there I guess (SF) ?
What @Princes is saying though - is SO true.
My type was the "gate-keeper" type, and he felt I wanted to pass through the Pearly Gates to feminity. He is male homosexual, no less, wanting to be St. Peter? OMG?!
I could never shake the idea he'd some issues with females, GG or TG.
An absolute control freak.
Must have offended him with my dress code more then once, like "unrealistic ideas about womanhood"... ->-bleeped-<-!!!!!!!!!
Once I tuned into his expectations I started to pass his gate... "overcoming my obstacles!" him being the obstacle as he pointed out after me questioning: "What obstacles?!"
That's just a reminder how VERY necessary dress code becomes when you need to get something you NEED!
So, don't show your hold-ups honey, down with that hem line. Max 2" heels, AND go LIGHT on the make up, lest interviewing for a place in hooker street.
Life's a bitch --- where did I put that chocolate, dang???!!
