Well now you can be the next Jesus, the next Buddha, or even the next L. Ron Hubbard. Sign up now to create-your-own religion. You name it, write down the beliefs, rituals, and holidays. We will then post the best submissions on our site and allow you to compete for followers.

I created the "Be Excellent to Each Other" religion.  Rituals include chanting "Be Excellent to Each Other" and strumming the air guitar.

Looks like I didn't do too well.  Mine didn't even get listed.  Maybe it was the Bill & Ted thing, copyrights, whatever.  As of this post Meowism is ranked #1.

Beliefs: That the Siamese cat, Cheysuli, who has the title The Right Paw of Bast is Goddess incarnated.

Chey is here to tell us how to live and what to do and humanity exists only to serve her and her minions (basically all other cats, dogs and other domesticated animals).

Rituals: Humans worship by feeding the cat, scooping the litter box, petting the cat, and purchasing cat food. Non-cat owners are encouraged to send fishy flakes (bonito flakes from the pet store) to Chey. Napping (preferably with a cat) is also an important ritualHolidays:March 1 is Chey's birthday and it is considered to be Cheymas.
Caturday, the last day of the week, is the day of worship.
