I thought the guy had swallowed a didgeridoo.

One hand clapping...

The sound of a frame drum fading, and the profound silence that comes after in certain places.

The body-permeating sound/feel of an odaiko.

A violin or cello, if well-played.  (If badly played it's one of the worst sounds...)

Voices in almost-perfect, but not too perfect, harmony.

The crunchy aliasing of bitcrushed, ring-modulated, distorted audio.  (Synth and industrial music geek...)

Mourning doves, and the bird in our backyard that sings "germany germany germany dirt."

The white noise of a fan, at low levels.  I miss it when it's gone.

My wife humming contentedly.

When a song I actually like comes on at a disco - I get so over excited.

somebody said a train. I love listening in the distance, then while they go by, and the fade away.
Any kind of engine that produces high amount of power, the in your gut deepness, the feeling it's going to explode.....
The oncoming blades of a helicopter that is running them over the speed of sound, the booming of the blade tips
Jake brakes
Flash-boom lightning-thunder
5lbs of flash powder igniting at once in a Hardy's parking lot

The sound of my baby's breath when they would both be napping. I'd have them on each side of me. I'd just listen and listen...

The burning sound this thing makes

The chorus of frogs every night in our pond out back
When the bass is turned up so high that it thumps in your chest
Skillfully played violins or cellos
And (strangely) the sound a Guitar Hero controller makes when you press on the colored fret buttons...but only the controller that came with the first game.

I got to hear my girls on video that has been lost for over ten yrs. It makes my mind reel! it brings back memories that had long been lost.
But, to hear my girls laughing, crying, argueing, and the almost non-stop chatter and giggling! I'm actually overwhelmed. I can only take a little at a time.

This soft, whisper-humming music I used to hear every day in the morning when I was little and used to take walks at dawn. You could sort of hear trains behind it, way off across town.

The sound of the beads in my baby doll's body, moving under my hands.

The sound of so many people talking, everything caves in around you.

The sighing sound of paper crinkling as you turn a page in a good book.

Thought of another one today: A tennis ball against pavement.

the lower registers of a flute
lightning and thunder
water sounds. waves, rain, flowing streams. water in motion.

You'd hate my dad then, he breathes heavier then anyone I know.

I have an uncle who breathes heavily through his mouth, and likes to stand close to people. Torture. Nice guy, though.
