So this makes the second time I've ordered from Love Boat. This time I went with this one: http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=109 in a size M (I'm a B-something). Previously I bought the V-neck double binder (also velcro - http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=78_80&products_id=98) in a size S and it's always been too tight imo. Anyway, it showed up today. Have it on now. While it certainly doesn't make me totally flat, it's a hell of a lot more comfortable on than the previous one. The velcro is key because there's a good amount of it and I could make it tighter if I really wanted. Also, I think the mesh back will be a lot cooler on in warmer weather. It's actually really comfortable having the mesh layer in the back. I think any guys who have back pain while wearing binders might be satisfied with this one. Just bear in mind the front doesn't compress as well as their other ones - even though it's a double layer of spandex, it's still just spandex so if you've got a large chest it probably won't be your best bet. B or under I think you'd be ok. It you want more compression, go with the second link I posted (the "high strength") but bear in mind it gets hot. I'll see if I can post a pic later.

I have the AIR7 that you posted in the top link also.  Of the vest I have tried in my life, I like it the best.   I will say for people who wear larger sizes, be very careful with the size chart they have.  I was on the lower end of the XXL (which is not uncommon with Asian measurements), but I ordered the XL because I am trying to keep working out and losing weight.   From day one it was too big.  I have it on the smallest possible size where velcro is rubbing on my skin if I don't wear a shirt under it.

So basically if you order the AIR7, be warned they do run big, especially the larger sizes.  If I had of known I would have ordered a L even though the site said I was an XXL.
