Honey, is this the hormones?
You sound quite dyslexic.
What are you trying to convey?

Hey honey bunch,
no big deal, unless to tell me I'm some sort of granny genius.

You got young skin, so UNLESS you have "beard shadows" no need for foundation, also as you have already pigmented (non Caucasian) skin.

So, you'll want to apply mascara and do it my way?
Ok, top lashes apply one layer, followed immediately by next layer wiggling the brush side ways so as to separate the lashes, avoiding to make blobs. Do both eyes.
Follow by one only layer at bottom lashes (unless you want to look like a night owl) also wiggle some to separate bottom lashes. Keep it LIGHT.

Return to top and apply 3 and last layer going straight up (no wiggling now) and try to get maximum extension. If they touch you sun-glasses you'd done real well, heehee.

Eyeliner can be used to make all look more heavily made-up but I'd do that some time later once doing OK with mascara only.
I find liquid eye-liner works better for me, but you have to get used to it --- it tickles a lot in the beginning and then you'll start plinking with your eye-lids and make it messy.
So, paint small portions only and fill in as you go along. Apply BEFORE mascara, if using eye-liner and follow along the lash hair line, on top only --- all this bottom lid line blackening is VERY Asian Indian style, not for me, it's too heavy. You get special blackening, looks like a black pointy lipstick. Wanna look traditional like your granny, then go for it :-)

Lipstick, gotta find you colour(s) what will look good with you taint. DO NOT USE BRIGHT FIRE ENGIN RED, you'll look like a teenage hooker. Rather some glossy mild pinks I'd suggest.

Open mouth to an O and apply top and bottom AND KEEP IT TO YOUR LIP LINE --- DO NOT OVER PAINT, else look like hooker again or very sloppy girl. Use "wahse" kind of smaking lips to distribute to and bottom. More advanced use lipstick brush (very expensive) and get pretty much the same effect. If feeling sexy finish off with lip gloss. It comes in different colours or just clear.
If applied too much, use tissue paper, put between lips, close lips on paper to loose some of the surplus.

May MILDLY highlight cheek bones (if not very pronounce already), use non too reddish lipstick and apply a short dash or two, then distribute over highes cheek bone area from just under eyes towards side burn area. Spread well with fore- and middle-finger.
Need proper, best natural, lighting so it does not look "painted" and silly.

That's all there is to day make-up for me.

If you go clubbing you can go wild, splash more, look like some funky wild parrot --- who would say anything to glitter and glitz (at YOUR age - not mine though).

Note: At night all cats are grey, heehee. Meaning, who will tell the difference?

Unless you have Parkinson's Disease (the shakes) this is done in max. 5 minutes, and you done for most of the day.

Tip: If having freshly applied lipstick and drinking from any glass, first quickly and surreptitiously lick with tip of your tongue QUICKLY the area where you intend to put your mouth. No lipstick will be transferred.

Have lipstick handy in your handbag so you can reapply during the day as you feel it's worn off. With a little practice you learn to do with even without use of mirror, hey!

Any more questions? Go ask!

You get good at makeup the same way you get to Carnegie Hall.  Practice, practice, practice.

Reds dont work on my caramel skin just so yea know :D :D

Oh I can imagine. Youtube is your friend. Best bets are probably channels that are dedicated to makeup, but make sure you look for ones titled things like, "My Everyday Look". That way you won't go out to the super and look like a showgirl. If you have a friend asking her can't hurt. I know my best friend's girlfriend is quite keen on wanting to do my makeup at some point, *mumble*justnotwhensheshungoverandactinglikeatotalbitch*mumble*. As JennaMarbles says, be straight and forward, nobody has ESP.  :-*

Practice, practice, practice. Plus, you pretty much get what you pay for. Go get a makeover at Macy's or Sephora, they don't care who you appear to be, they just want to sell you some makeup.

Hey sweetie,
I had plenty of VERY friendly folks that helped and wanted to help me at e.g. Edgars in Menlyn Pta in particular. Some funky guys running make-up stands (gay for sure, then so what?) with enormous eyelashes, foundation "le tout".

I went there very early during my transition and had zero problems, even the security staff gave me lovely smiles.
At "sportsmen's ware house" the female security guard was all over me wanting to get into my panties, hey, hey --- I say, slowly honey bunch. :-)

A lot our local folks just LOVE it if you dress up and look femme. Go in jeans and jersey you get far less complimented for sure.

Personally I has no bad experiences, whether it be Woollies, Clicks, P&P, you name it. None of this heavy stuff you read some girls in the US are having to deal with.

Good luck from,
Axelle :-)
