I've posted a few times so far, but figured I'd do a formal "Hello" here.

I'm 22 years old and a t-girl. I've known for a good portion of my life that something was going on with me that was a bit different or off. Puberty really kind of threw the wrench in the machine for me. Anyways, I live in the USA and attend school for philosophy, and I am considering a minor in women's/gender studies as well, not that it would take any real extra effort at this point. No clue what comes next after that. I think I may do a masters in library science, but at the same time I think doing something with spirituality in communities would be nice as well. Just gotta wait and see.

I'm heavily interested in queer theory, epistemology, feminism, capitalism, and spirituality, the latter being one of the larger focuses of my life. I've lived "full time" for 3 years or so now, have a loving family and great friends, and live a pretty chilling life. I can be a bit of a personality sometimes, but don't let it put you off. Anyways, here's to hoping for some good conversations.

Hello city_baby,
Ah... is that the name you would like to be called? ???
I am glad to meet you, a young successful full timer.
Not many of us have family and friend who are supportive.
You are a lucky one.
Welcome to Susan's.

Friends share so here's a little about me.
I also knew at an early age that I was a girl.
But because of parents who corrected me, I tried to be a male for over 50 years.
Early memories were forgotten for years.
So I took me years to fully figure it all out.
I have a wife how is less than accepting but I have been on hrt for over 18 months.
But she seem to be slowly adjusting to my changes.

Hope to see more of your postings.

Hi City_Baby;

Glad to have you here. I've made a few career evolutions myself. From long-time student, to lecturer, to policy analyst, to some other positions in government and hoping to evolve away from that. Oh dear, that list ages me...

I hope you find what your calling(s) are. For myself, I think there are so many strands of the spiders web that resonate with me, but it can be hard to know which is the right one. But I figure, if we managed to hear our internal voice about transition amongst all the clutter of society then we likely have come away with some amazing skills to face these difficult issues.

It is great that you have supportive family and friends. Good luck in the exploration and I'm sure we will meet up in the forums.  :icon_wave:
