I have my Vulcan name tattooed on my left wrist in ancient Vulcan calligraphy.

Because I'm just that cool.  >:-)

I've got a blue tree with mushrooms and a snail on my arm/shoulder area. I will post pictures once I have my computer back!

So far nothing, because tattoos are expensive :'P. I'm trying to talk my boyfriend into getting matching Dark Marks though. Damn work and their rules regarding really noticeable tattoos! D:< In their defense, getting a permanent mark showing me as one of Voldemort's followers is something we'll likely regret in the future.

Another nerdy one I'd like is a portal on somewhere on my body, and it shows the organ underneath. Maybe where my uterus would be and have it showing empty! :'D

I do not like Voldemort, particularly. But I do have plans to possibly get the Dark Mark on my arm. So far, I have a koi fish on my right inner forearm that many people have noticed or asked about in pictures. I wear long sleeves for work (a under armor style shirt) so it's not visible. I don't mind at all, so having the dark mark on my other arm wouldn't be a problem. So far, it's the only tattoo I have.

Also, like Adam, after Top Surgery, I plan to get a tattoo across the front of my chest of a dragon breathing fire across my chest. All my tattoos tend to represent a portion of my life. The koi for my journey, and struggles against everything that weighted me down, to finally being able to flow with the river. The Dark Mark is just my nerdy side, but Harry Potter has been a HUGE part of my life. From how I gained some of the best people in my life, to making friends, a whole 15+ years. And the dragon, well... I hope you'd understand the meaning of that one.

I was always told, don't get a tattoo unless it has a meaning to you. Or you'll wind up hating it in a few years. Sometimes I wish I chose a different location for my tattoo, but I'd never erase it.

Others may think it's dumb, but I like fake tatts myself. Load up, mix 'em up, wash 'em off and you have a whole new blank canvas to work with and start over! All the fun without any of the commitment!  :D

Nothing yet, though I am keen on getting one. Probably something to do with Russia, because my degree is in Russian studies, and I love the country. We'll see.

Upper Right arm= celtic wolf howling at a half sun/moon, underneath it celtic dragon armband
Upper Left Arm= Celtic upside down triangle with two half lions emerging facing opposite directions to represent both sides of my family (Scots and English), under that another armband that was custom designed by me with a combination of heraldry and a celtic band with some snake/demon head combo.  Hard to describe because it is unique to me.

All tats are black or grey scale because I have always hated color tats, especially if they are not upkept properly.

i got a little scrawly star on my upper arm (inner side) and planning to get the same on the other side for christmas.
then i have haida bird on my shoulder (which was supposed to be similar to the 30 seconds to mars phoenix because the design is awesome.... but that just didn't fit my proportions oO so my tatto-guy suggested the bird and i LOVE it)

Have you guys seen any cool across the chest scar hiding tats? I've heard a lot of people talk about getting them but haven't seen how any turned out.
  •

MaxAloysius

I've seen a couple, and I have to say over all I think they draw more attention to the scar than cover it up. For that reason I'm thinking of getting more calligraphy on one of my pecs after surgery, to draw the eye away from the lines.

I saw one guy who had flames across the scars, but they showed up really bright with the ink over and it looked terrible. XZ

zombiesarepeaceful

I saw one guy on youtube who had "Mercy" across his chest after surgery and it completely hid the scars.

PixieBoy

I'd like maybe to tattoo DNA spirals, in pure black, across the scars. If I could get them tattooed in UV-reactive ink, it would be totally awesome but it wouldn't hide the scars, as UV tattoos are invisible in normal light. I'd look cool when dancing shirtless underneath a blacklight, though.

Keep this image in mind before you get your tattoo!

I don't have any YET, because I'm under 18 and no way in hell my mom'd let me get one now XD
But, I want:
Hakuna Matata across my back (I'm very adamant about this one).
An "I love you" sign, with the hand-part as a black-outlined rainbow heart and the fingers probably black-outlined white. Possibly on my shoulder. It'd be very small.

I considered a teeny Waldo tattoo on my armpit, or on the inside of my arm near it. I think it'd be funny, but I most likely wouldn't seriously get it. XD
