I've really really been wanting to take some dance classes like maybe jazz, but I'm nervous about the situation downstairs because even just doing certain stretches I would feel pretty exposed, let alone whatever dance moves I might be trying. I know how to tuck like a pro by now, but still there's some bulge at certain angles.

Has anyone taken yoga or dance classes and found a way around this issue? Or does it really not even matter if I wear like some baggy sweatpants?

wonder if wearing some panties that are a size or two smaller would help.

There are actually skirts made specifically for Yoga and similar activities. http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46805&vid=1&pid=819403

And maybe wear capris or shorts underneath.

That skirt thing looks like a really good idea. Thanks!

I also use a panty girdle, that stops the varmints escaping

Enjoy your dance lessons :-*

I don't do dance classes, but use to do karate. I always held my ugly bits securely with tight underwear. For obvious reasons, the padding wasn't used.

as a ballet dancer of 15 years i feel like i can help here... people with male genitalia wear things called "dance belts" which are really just specially designed briefs that keep the genitals "up and away" from in between the legs. sorry that this site is technically for male dancers but it's very helpful. check out "the complete guide to dance belts".

i'm sure that you could modify the way you wear the underclothes if this way leaves a bulge.
