I got home from the hospital today, but I have no idea which way to sleep to reduce swelling. I'm waking up feeling on fire and it feels like my vagina is about to swell out of my panties! Help! Any advice would be appreciated! ??? :'(

At the hospital, the bed kept me comfortable and they kept it iced properly. I dont have that here!!

Avoid any pressure to let the blood flows. If you sleep on your back: legs spread apart with a big pillow between your knees in order to keep your legs apart. Same thing if you sleep on your side.

Thanks Bamboo. That's what I've been doing. I had to rid myself of the blanket and sleep with just a sheet, drink plenty of water too. I don't have icepacks here. I've tried wrapping ice in papertowels and seal it in a plastic bag but it still leaks.

I read you had surgery 5 days ago. It seems that your pain killer doesn't help much.
