I had a name related epiphany recently that I wish to relate.  It's still strange to me, but cool.
I had been contemplating my name choice recently, and I decided since it was coming up in my thoughts more to once again open the name change forum.  There were two names I was entertaining at the moment that were always kinda floating around in my noggin.  I presented each name on a separate occasion to my partner, but I was still left contemplating.  Finally, I asked what he thought would suit me.  The first couple of suggestions I immediately shot down, and then he presented Jack.  I was about to laugh and blow it off, but I stopped.  I had that feeling you get when you have a sudden epiphany and said "...wait a minute...."  This was a name I'd always breeze over, never contemplated.  It held no interest and it was so ordinary.  But somehow, this time, it held a strange appeal.  I got a second opinion and she thought it suited me as well.   It is now a very great possibility and it feels awesome.  The middle name still needs a change, but there's been progress!
