What is the best at home type laser hair removal system?

I have used the Tria.  Your experience may vary, but I found that it was moderately painful on the body, very painful on the jaw (I had to resort to a topical numbing cream), and didn't reduce my hair level noticeably in any location.  I have the ideal skin/hair type (fair caucasian with brown-black hair).

If you decide to try the Tria, do be aware that using it on the face is strongly discouraged because if you are not very careful of the angles, the beam can cause permanent eye damage.  Plus, the beam will diffuse and go sideways a short distance through your skin, so getting too close to the eye can also cause damage even if the beam is not pointed toward the eye.  :o  Please be careful.

I'm done with home hair removal treatments other than shaving and the occasional epilating cream;  I'm saving my money to have a pro do the job.
Call me Dana. Call me Cait. Call me Kat. Just don't call me late for dinner.

Dana thank you for the words of caution but something has to give!.

I'm dressed very nice right now planning to go out this evening & this beard & all this shaving stuff is just killing me, I cut myself. I look & feel very good about myself except for this hair, damn.

It probably will not do much but I though I would try. I will be careful.

I had some pro laser facial work done earlier, it did work for me some. I know this is the only way.

Guess I'll give my nails another coat, it's a lot more fun to do that deal with this face hair problem

Take care & good luck to you.

The Tria laser system worked great for me. I posted this several times here.

This summer, I do not need to shave my armpits. I guess fine hairs will grow again in fall or winter, but not in this summer.

Barbie, thank you again for suggesting the Tria product. It seems to work excellent, seems identical to laser treatments anyone would have to pay for at a salon & all the laser treatments I received. Smart idea & product.

Today I saw some fine hairs in my legs. I just shaved them, because the Tria recommends to apply the laser system every 6 months after the initial period of intensive treatment. I am thinking using it again in this fall, as my legs became tanned from outdoor exercise.

Barbie~~
Just do it.
