I have to buy fairly large pants to fit my hips, and I've noticed that when I go to use an STP they just fall straight down rather than sitting at a non-awkward height.  Anyone have ideas on how to fix this without looking like I'm trying new yoga positions?  ::)

You mean your trousers fall down?  How are you using the stp?  Like, do you completely unbutton, unzip, and undo your belt?  Or just unzip? Or something else?

My pants would fall if I unzipped, unbuttoned, and undid my belt.  I realized after a while that it was kind of silly to do all of that.  So I kept my belt on and just unzipped/unbuttoned.  Much easier and the pants stayed up.  But I suppose if you don't wear a belt or have belt loops at all, that could be difficult.

Yeah, I hate wearing belts.  As soon as they're unzipped, they're on the floor.
It's not a huge issue, but I feel like a bit of an idiot for not being able to manage my pants.

This can be tricky if your pants are larger, as you say.
What I find however is to stand wider than shoulder width apart... generally in a stall, as it does look awkward. I can kind of "stall" my pants on my thighs, while being able to access all my STP junk in the meantime.
It's tricky, and I have since taken to buying pants that fit!  :)

For me (and I'm a fattier guy mind you) I just unzip without unbuttoning and find the opening in my underwear as fast as possible. I've noticed this is much easier wearing boxer briefs or boxers (I don't pack.) but that's just me. Suspenders sound like a great suggestion though!

Every time I consider wearing suspenders, I get a mental image of me looking like this.

Then I realize that the reality would probably be more like this.

Also, while googleing suspender pics I found the perfect solution!

i lost weight since i bought my pants and im not going to buy new ones every time my weight changes so my pants slip down without a belt so i also have to hold up my pants and hold my underwear down when using my stp
