Hello everyone! I am Jake, a pre-everything guy who unfortunately was born in the wrong body. I am 19 years old.
Today week I'll be starting therapy and I can't wait for it! I hope everything goes well.

I am bisexual, kinda more into guys though. I've been identifying strongly as male for about three years. Came out to my my family as lesbian at first because I knew they'd take it bad - but the closest family member took lesbian as very bad as well, so I went on with telling the truth. I am now happy that I talked about these issues to people who can help. I didn't know that therapists could help and I found a lot of help through FTM videos on YouTube. People who don't know me personally consider me as a guy and I'm really happy about that.

Before I forget, can anyone tell me how I can edit my profile on here, please? I am having a hard time with it.

Much love,
Jakey xx

Hey, Jake, good to meet you. :) You're doing well. I'm still in the confusing stage of sorting everything out and a therapist would really help, but I'm not sure how to get one. I'll admit I haven't researched it that much. I need to get on that.

Also, you can start editing your profile after you've reached fifteen posts. Read Here.[url]

Thanks for the help :) Better get to 15 posts as soon as possible then xD

Just an update: I went to my first therapy session - well not quite. I was just seen by another doc and he said he's referring me to another one who could help. He said it shouldn't take months but I have a feeling it will. At least he asked me what they called me - the other docs I was seen by just used my legal name.
Also I am getting all this for free and there is an insane waiting list but I don't have money for private sessions.
And in my country one has to get bottom surgery to get their name changed. I'm very worried about that :/
