So, ever since I was a little kid I wanted to play baseball ... but no I was regulated to softball.

Last Saturday, my wife and some friends went to a sport complex game center.  They had batting cages.  So, everyone has a turn and I thought to myself - screw it I am going to do what I always have wanted to do.   So, I selected baseball .... man that ball flew past me ... my wife and friends were giving me pointers while saying - what the hell were you thinking --- then bam!  I hit one and then the next one and it continued until time ran out.  I was nailing them and making good contact.   This made my wife and friends go crazy ... cheering me on.   Once I stepped outside of the cage a teenager was getting ready to go in and he said "nice hitting bro"  I was on a high all evening.  We played lazer tag & bumper cars & ski ball ... but nothing made me feel as good as my friends and wife cheering me on by my male name and hitting those fast pitch baseballs - not even kicking everyones butt in lazer tag multiple times.

It feels good to be living the dream

Rob, I'm with ya! It's like my recent post--whether it's whizzing in a urinal in Montreal, or hitting baseballs in a batting cage somewhere in the midwest, it's the little stuff that can make such a difference!

Hey, isn't your T date coming right up, dude? Congrats in advance!  :)
