Does anyone else use Suporn's SRS Technique?

Looking at the Suporn sight, I see that he did some basic presentations on his SRS procedure.  But there is no mention of more advanced sessions, or anything recent.  Is he the only one who uses his method, or does not do an inversion?
It's easier to change your sex and gender in Iran, than it is in the United States.  Way easier.

As I am doing a lot of research about different techniques and your answer is yes, several Thai doctors use suporn's technique. I personally believe that Suporn is a genius who has developed many new techniques regarding SRS and FFS and why would you go to somebody else when you can go to dr suporn? Maybe his price is a bit higher but you only do your SRS once. The only thing I dislike about suporn is the aesthetics. Sometimes his vaginas look very bad but you can always go back for a revision. He consistently gets a great depth and great sensations, and those two are more important to me then the aesthetics.  Try the Bangkok Gender Clinic if you want an other doctor then dr suporn.

I am not actively shopping for a surgeon.  I think I am curious why Suporn's technique is not being used more widely, when the results seem so much better.  That the technique seems not to have been adapted more widely seems to indicate that it's not as effective as his website makes it look.

That is a very good point, but still suporn's girls are all happy with the results (depth and sensations) even some of them are porn stars which makes a prove of how functional the new genitalia are. Maybe his technique is more complex and that makes other doctors unable to use it. Maybe he is not open to train other doctors to use his technique...

As I understand it....... Suporn is a 5 hour operation with a team to prepare grafts.  That would be prohibitively expensive in most countries.
I did discuss the difference in techniques and results with my UK surgeon where they do a simple Inversion but had to be careful and diplomatic.
Apparently Suporn uses scrotal skin to line the neo vagina and this has to be thoroughly scraped to remove all the hair follicles which unfortunately also removes most of the blood supply.  There is therefore some concern about grafts dying or not taking, although I have not noticed people posting about that (...and WTH do I know anyway?)

Although pictures of Suporns best results are amazingly good, one poor girl posted here and her result is about the worst I've ever seen and that's post-revision!  Several other people posted into this thread so whilst his best results are remarkable it seems that he is certainly not infallible.

To those who understand, I extend my hand
To the doubtful I demand, take me as I am
Not under your command, I know where I stand
I won't change to fix your plan, Take me as I am (Dreamtheatre - As I Am)
I started out with nothing..... and I still have most of it left.

The only doctors who don't have complications are the doctors who don't work. Unfortunately there is always risk with GRS. There was one testimony online about a polish girl who went to Suporn for FFS and GRS. She woke up only with her FFS done and she ended up totally disfigured. She was stating that she spent several months in Thai prison... Apparently she was doing an aggressive champagne against Dr Suporn and he arranged for her to be arrested and detained. She was suing Dr Suporn clinic and and she had several videos of her speaking in front of the Thai Minister of Health. Suddenly her website and all of the youtube videos disappeared.
I still believe that Dr Suporn is a fantastic doctor but they all do make mistakes and have bad results... Every surgery involves risks and those complications don't exist in the textbooks only but they happen in practice.

I always get a bit suspicious when reading 'rumours' like these, so I did some research, and you can read more about this case here.
The page is in french, but you can use google translate to read it.

There is a copy of the original invoice there, and it clearly mentions that it is only for FFS surgery. The whole dispute seems to be about the fact that there is an amount on the invoice that coincidentally is identical to the costs of an SRS with Suporn, and that the invoice mentions that the costs include assistance in vaginal douching and dilation. This last line could just be a copy-paste error, or simply be printed by default on every invoice that Suporn sends. Maybe someone who had FFS with Suporn can confirm this?

According to this article she also wasn't jailed, she was treated in another hospital for a mental breakdown.

I don't know, but this story seems to be a bit fishy. I have the feeling that she just tried to get an SRS for free from Suporn. Would you pay an invoice for FFS and also expect an SRS when it never mentions the actual SRS? I definitely wouldn't.

On her website she was talking about being sent to jail and the photos of her face didn't look very nice. It could be rumour only, I agree. I just wonder why did her website and youtube videos disappear.

If she doesn't have more "evidence" then mentioned in the article I linked to above, then it could be seen as libel, and this may explain why she removed her site.

I just noticed that the invoice in that article was written after the surgery, but still the prices seem to be right, FFS is expensive surgery. Maybe someone who had FFS with Suporn can confirm that the price is correct?

She had the surgery in 2009. So we need the prices from 2009. I have two possible scenarios. The first one is that something went terribly wrong during the FFS so they couldn't do the SRS at the same time. They didn't want to do a refund and they just made a fake invoice. The second scenario is that Michelle just wanted SRS for free. Also it is possible that Dr Suporn settled with her out of court, payed her money or gave her SRS for free and in return she had to remove all of the videos and the website. I am not sure what happened but I still think that Dr Suporn is a very good doctor.

Hello

I had SRS with Dr Suporn in Dec, 2010.  I am very satisfied with my outcome and would recommend Dr Suporn.

Regarding the case with the Polish woman.  When I initially contacted Dr Suporn I made inquiries into doing
a "facelift" as well as SRS.  I was told by the clinic that due to the technical nature and time involved in the surgeries
that FFS and SRS cannot be done in one surgical session.  I was also given a  baseline quote of 495,000 baht for the "facelift".
That was pretty much given as the starting point.  And we would begin a full intake process to identify
what else should/could be done.  I decided that I would not pursue a facelift/FFS.  Looking at the invoice
(shown in the link) it seems pretty straight forward to me that it was only referring to a FFS procedure.

As far as what prices were in 2009.  I began my correspondence with the clinic in Feb, 2010.  I was told at that time
that Dr Suporn had not changed his prices for quite a while.  Since Dr Suporn does his pricing in baht changes in the
currency exchanges rates had been effectively raising price significantly for US customers.

I had my SRS with Suporn, about 2 years ago (November 2009), I have never had any form of plastic surgery before so i was terrified. But all I can say is that they REALLY REALLY take care of you, there is a form of hospitality there that is unrivaled against anything I am used to. My fiance (who still does not know about my trans status), has no idea that he has been having sex with a neo vagina lol.

Aesthetically speaking, it looks VERY VERY pretty. Very small, tight, and compact. Like a small peach, i love it!
I can't stress it enough...Suporn IS the one. He is a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get honestly.
