at work my name tag says my legal name "jessica" so all the adults recognise me as a female. but every single kid who says anything about me or asks me something refers to me as sir or him. i was cleaning the fishtank at work and a little boy said "mommy whats he doing?" it made me feel really good. i get recognised as a guy all the time. even in femminine clothes. i have my whole life. its super confidence boosting.

I had a similar experience working at a convenience store, except even the adults would "sir" me about 1 out of 4 times...despite my nametag that clearly said "Katherine"

I passed when buying groceries yesterday! A cashier got off her shift while I was still paying for the groceries, and she said 'He's just paying for his stuff' to the cashier replacing her. I was not binding, just wearing a big hoodie and cargo shorts. It made me  smile allll the way home
