They ask for employment information on the website, does anyone know if they contact your place of work and tell them what you are getting a loan for? Or do they just search records to make sure you are a real employee?

cause I am stealth and wouldn't want a cosmetic medical loan place to be calling my place of work.

I doubt that they call, but even if they do they won't be able to say what the cosmetic procedure is for!

They probably just want to verify that you have a source of regular income. As Hayley Rivka pointed out, medical privacy laws (in the U.S. at least) mean they cannot discuss medical information with your employer without your explicit written consent (or anyone else, for that matter). All they can really do is verify employment and maybe salary.
Call me Dana. Call me Cait. Call me Kat. Just don't call me late for dinner.
