There are so many thing I'm not sure of.This is just one of them. If you think I might prefer to be a boy. I don't know. Maybe not. But I don't mind being in between. What I have been wondering is I have thought to take testosterone for just a slight effect. I'm not going to lie, slight existent of muscle mass would be good. But I don't plan to take it as far as possible just when I get the desired effect. As I said earlier I'm not planning to be a transgender.
I have been looking at testosterone gel. I heard it affect the user slower and distributive.
Any suggestion or opinions on this?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum!

I plan to take testosterone gel, basically because getting to and from a doctor's would be a hassle, plus I hate needles...

All I can say is T is something to think about very carefully. You mention that you would like more muscle mass from T, and you mention that you would stop it once you were at a happy inbetween place. If you did stop testosterone you would lose most of your muscle mass...the only things that would stay are the voices changes, some body hair/more masculine face, and genital growth. If you would be happy with those things alone, testosterone may be for you. Have you spoken at all to a therapist?

Testosterone is much stronger than estrogen, so I'd only need a tiny bit to make a difference. I wouldn't need genital-growing amounts to get a bit more toned. I hope by taking a small dose of testosterone for a little while; long enough to get some of the changes, and then stopping before the more drastic stuff, and these changes I've had will stay. As for the doses, I haven't had any clue.

Hi and Welcome,

Self medication is very dangerous. You really do need your blood T & E levels monitored. Too much T and you can develop severe, even fatal liver problems etc.
I would try a therapist and talk through the issues.

It's probably a lot easier to find a gym that has  female bodybuilder clients. Safer and cheaper too I would think, without any unwanted side effects, and you'd be less likely to have any hassles than a normal gym.
Nothing wrong with being a strong girl if you decide against transitioning, and if you do you will have a head start.
