Have you ever tried an upcoming trend in fashion, and what is your experience?

I was looking at the list of fashion trends for the winter 07. I myself am a person that enjoys the fashions of the 50s. Ironicly fashion repeats itself and has a way of reexploring vintage constantly.

This year, I do want to for once try on something that is up and coming in the season, just to try it.

Looking at this year's fashion trends from a list one or 2 things hit my curiousity button.

Although one of the fashion trends, there called "portrait of a lady" are 50s inspired, trying something like "battledress" seems a little alluring. It just seems like something very fun to try. I saw Madonna and even AFI wearing some military like clothing.

Have you ever tried an upcoming fashion, or watch for fashions? What is your experience with fashions? Or do you just wear the same fashion as always?

Been experimenting lots with the current avian motif, the long tops, etc. Long tops not only flatter my figure, but look absolutely gorgeous.

I try to dress like someone from SoCal. I have a ton of jeans, tunic tops, boots, etc. Most stuff which is in style.

I would like to try mono-lids. But I don't know if it's appropriote for day to day unless I am going out on a date in the major metro eras. But I dress as every other girl does in my area...Minus the muffin tops.
