Suggest a good camcoder or digital camera?

Hi guys,

Suggest any digital cameras or camcoders that has great quality but not too steep on the price. I'll be using it to keep a daily log of hairgrowth OR restoration as I'm going to be on minoxidil and finpecia soon. So, a lot of closeup would be in order and being blurred would not be good. Please suggest any if you know or have experience with some
