I would just say that my ribs were crooked or something. Then there isn't a big story to upkeep.

If required to say ANYTHING, you could always just say you had gynecomastia - abnormal development of large mammary glands in males resulting in breast enlargement.. For which one can have surgery.

Not complete BS, its actually pretty much spot on! Its caused by hormone imbalances, skin and adipose deposits in the body, amongst others - even bodybuilders who use AS can develop it..

I'd try not to lie, that way you don't have to remember who you said what to.. It's purely a matter of stretching the truth to suit your needs, not breaking it completely ;)

the thing about gynecomastia surgery is that because male breast development is so small compared to females even when it's abnormal, their surgery to correct it is like a peri or keyhole, so you'd never see the scars.

Just attempting to offer alternatives mate!! But I admit I have real trouble believing Average Joe or Jane on the street would know that! Or what gynecomastia actually is! Or what our scars are really from.. Or that they would have the insensitivity to actually ask about something that was obviously somewhat traumatic to leave such scars...

I dunno, maybe in the first few sentences I think too little of society's intelligence and in that last sentence-too much! lol

Scars can take a long time to fade, especially deeper ones like surgery scars. But eventually they'll probably fade to white and look like stretch marks. One thing that I've found to help with scarring is Bio-Oil. I don't have any surgery-type scars but it's good for my smaller ones, helps them fade a little faster. You can find it at Walgreens or online, and it smells wonderful.

I didn't read all of the comments, but have you tried the silicone strips? I heard they work pretty well.
