I know! first you gotta get the food in your mouth, then you usually have to chew and at the end of all that you just end up swallowing the stuff you just mixed up with spit. makes me want to puke just thinking about it.

my name is kyle and I have resided on earth for 27 years and some number of months.
I live in a house with humans and cats.
I drive to work everyday and sit at my desk working on a computer, then drive home again.
sometimes I do too many drugs, but not as many as I used to do.
I have a titanium spine, and I'm really dissapointed that it didn't give me any superpowers.
I better have awesome powers in my next reincarnation.  like teleportation.

and 42.

Yep,
tough to be different from boring mainstream.
If you born this way, not much you can do about it but try and get by.

Have I any advice? No, not really, else I'd have taken it myself LONG ago.

So, keep rolling with the punches ---  float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, - only when needed though.

I was born by the river, in a little tent...

Nah, I was born on the Prairie, on the windswept streets of Middle America, in a cross-fire hurricane.  Sort of.  It was May so the weather was very nice and I don't think they have hurricanes anyway.  It was in a hospital in Chicago, not exactly the streets.  But the hospital was on a street, so that's something.

Lived for a while in Chicago.  Built a lot of models, got into building electronic ->-bleeped-<-.  Rode my bike a lot. Did my first play in the first grade.  Started dressing up in like 1st Grade.  Books were my best friend.  I was very good not only with the reading/science school stuff, but also I was very good with my hands and mechanical/building stuff.  Was very 'adventurous' at a very young age, high risk factor stuff.  Moved to San Francisco Bay Area in the late '60s.  Went to private HS.  Fell in with a hippie crowd.  Started dressing more and more in public.  Started having sex with other people, some kinky.  Started working with bands.  Worked other shows as stagehand.  Went back to the Midwest (des moines) for college. Took physics and child development, hung out in theater department.  Got an education.  Joined a union.  Met even kinkier girls.  Got laid a lot (theater department).  Became a Deadhead.  Graduated.  Got a job, got married.  Went back to Cali.  Had kids, worked a lot, including shows.  Did lots of crazy ->-bleeped-<-.  Went back to the Midwest to work on my advanced degrees, not because I cared, but more because I was interested.  Started teaching, kept on working shows.  Kept on teaching and working shows.  Wife ran local nightclub.  Raised kids.  Got divorced, moved (I did) back to Cali, started working shows, helped organize union.  Lived in SF for about 5 years, last 5 years in Sonoma County but still work in SF.

FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

There was a low pressure area over the upper midwest that was low enough to qualify as a hurricane. this was just last year. Just as weird as tornados in CA.

Hi, I'm helena.

I am part dragon, part angel. I'm the cat that's currently sat on my lap in a past or future life...I haven't figured out which yet. I'm one of the fair folk and a changling who was swapped at birth for a human child. I find this plane of existence fairly mundane and would like to go back home one day. I can travel faster on a skateboard than is legal for a car in a built up area and have absolutely no fear of breaking myself.

I also like pizza...everyone needs at least one vice.

Hmm, came to this forum about a month ago (I think), but perhaps I've you all a better perspective.

My legal name is Vincent. However, for now, I prefer the nickname Vi (until I can think of some other name that would be appropriate). I am a computer science major, about to commence my last year at University.

I have been politically all over the place. When I first dabbling into politics, I considered myself a Democrat (centre-left American political party). Then I went to socialism, had a brief flirtation with anarchism, and now consider myself a classical liberal.

I have never had any doubts about my gender until late last year, at the earliest (hard to pinpoint it exactly). At first I dismissed it as mere whimsy, but eventually I realised that something didn't sit right with me being called a man. And after joining this delightful site, as well as studying other resources, it has helped me to solidify my gender identity.

I am in a relationship with a FtM who also is attending my University, and he may be the most wonderful thing to ever happen to me!
