AND YAY another thread in here.

So, I lost my cool over clothes and being forced into women's ones effectively came out to my mother two days ago. I know this was bad. The result?

No screaming, no yelling, no physical violence, no tears. Just an even tone of "I'm never going to accept you." "You're making a big mistake.  You'll end up a homeless bum with no job, ostracized by society." "Move out today, then." (yes mom, I can so do that with $1,030 to my name) "They'll never accept you at Whitemud, they'll wean you out of a job. You'll never get a job."  "You'll never get an education." "No one would want to be your roommate." "Do you want to give up  free education we are giving you on a silver platter?" "You'll break your grandmothers heart." "Are you sure these are REAL articles and sites? I bet all this is BS." "Do you think I don't love you?"

And...
"You'll throw away your life. Just live how you are." <-- well isn't the latter wtf I am trying to do?!?

That being said...
->-bleeped-<- My Life.
YAY.

Wow that is a really ->-bleeped-<-ty response.  :/
I've heard of people coming around over time after a bad initial response, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

Sam(my)I am

I'm really sorry to hear that  :-\
Just stay strong, perhaps she'll come around.

Oh dear, I am sorry to hear how that happened.
I wish I could comfort you but there really is no way to tell how this will turn out. With many acceptance comes slowly after an initial bad response. Sometimes it never comes.
Keep your chin up, only you can create your own life.

I hope you guys are right and that she comes around. I don't have high hopes, though. She thinks she knows everything about how society works, when she last made a friend 11 years ago. The only kindess she's done is being quiet about it, so I can come out to everyone at my will, BUT, in exchange for her silence (and this me staying in the house) any public place I'm in with them means girls clothes = no pass. /rant
