sorry correct me if i am wrong but didn't your president obama try get homosexuals into the army but didn't go through with it in the end in fear of losing all support from the south (again sorry this is what sky news said quite a while back) anyways  as far as i can tell trans ppl are treated as if homosexual if you are or not so you will most prob  not get in sorry

He repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell, so LGB soldiers *can* be out and proud without getting discharged, but I don't think it's really done much. Trans*folk still can't join unless they go by what they were assigned at birth.
