HRT emotional reversal

hi there

ok so on hrt i have noticed something and i know this shouldn't be but ok i used to be really sensitive and could cry easily pre hrt but now over 2 months hrt i have well the emotional state of a standard guy i can't cry and lost my sensitivity :( wth!! its like hrt is rather killing me and bringing him to life  :'( anyone else have this happen ?

Yes. Kind of.

Spiro alone made me worse, estrogen added to that evened me out within hours. Before HRT I was a nutcase, now I'm much more "even keeled"

you need to talk to your Therapist and your Endocrinologist about these developments. We cannot really give you a definitive answer on this. Your Endo has your lap work and he or she can take additional tests to see if there are any physical reasons for the change.

Your therapist can help you cope with the depression and if need be, assign you additional prescriptions to make your depression more tolerable.

Hmm, not for me. I was pretty calm before HRT. After HRT I am still pretty calm (actually a bit more, which is hard considering how calm i was before!)... but more commonly my emotions seem to swing into happy or sad (and they can swing literally from really sad to really happy within minutes, but wild things like that are more rare).

   You should probably ask your endo to check your hormone lvls. I've heard that estrogen can sometimes be converted into T, dunno if this is true but it's worth asking your dr about.

only see him on the 21 of sep i sure hope that's the case because i don't feel like living my life as a robot ...
