My wife is pregnant right now and we don't know the sex of the baby and as I can attest, sex doesn't always quite match. Hmmm... Might be a few others on this forum with the same feelings. LOL. 😉
That being said, I'm certainly anxious about having a boy more than a girl. I already have one girl and it is so easy... I just couldn't imagine trying to go build something or doing whatever other masculine things are on the list of activities that a "boy's boy" would want growing up. I know this probably isn't coming out right. Just doing those sorts of activities really set off the GID in the worst way. Maybe, it won't be so hard later on because it won't really come out of the blue rather the child develops into that, so there is time to adapt and figure out what works. At this point, it just seems so much bigger. Hopefully, I'm making a mountain out of a molehill and it won't be as much of a challenge as I perceive right now. Regardless, we just want a healthy child but I won't deny that I am more nervous about having one over the other.
