BA - is it different for transexuals?

Hi Joey,

I had mine in January after 2.5 years of HRT. There have been no complications other than some stretch marks (which are already starting to fade of their own accord) and I am happy with the result. No loss of sensation and they look good, made my life a lot easier in so many ways.

As others have said you still have hope to grow your own, but if you do need to do it eventually the only things that are different for transgirls are that sometimes we have so much less to work with that your options can be guided/limited by what you can achieve with implants and if you have a large frame that can influence the surgeons method of entry (e.g. with  mine, I'm pretty tall and wide and though I would have preferred to have the incision under the armpit it was so far to travel to the implant site it was impractical).

Who has had breast augmentation done? Response: Not yet, planning on it in April 2012 combine with my SRS or GRS

How long were you on hormones for? (Is there a recommended time?) Response:Will be 18 months on HRT at the time of surgery.

How long has it been since you've have the surgery and have you had any complications? Response: Planned complications will be guys staring at my boobs...arrh the power of cleavage!

I'm 35, 6'-1" athletic frame, growth has been just an "A" cup over a year.  While I'm planning to only go to a full B (maybe small C), it's the shape and positioning I really desire.   Sure I wear Fredericks of Hollywood Extreme Push-up bra in 38B, but half of the cup in padding.

Remember, it's your body, do what you want that will make you happy.

I know I'm still young and this post was a little ridiculous but I was curiouuuss, so I'm just gonna blame it on that!
