'Straight Man in a Gay World' to explore homophobia and other social fears

In the film, students and faculty will see Ryan, a single straight man from Michigan, move to California and live the gay lifestyle for 30 days. He must join a gay sports team, work at a job that caters to gay clientele, attend a gay focused church and see what it's like to be viewed as a gay man in America.

In the series, Ryan is considered to be homophobic, so the audience gets to see how he reacts and if his views on the gay lifestyle will change
