I started T April 5th, and got my last period in the second week of June.  It was weird and only lasted a couple days, and only 12 days after the previous one, so I had a feeling it was stopping.  Nothing since, although I do get the occasional cramp or pain, it's random and not on any cycle that I can discern, and I'm not completely sure it isn't digestive issues really, since I've got some degree of lactose intolerance.

I started T in April and my last period was in March, so it stopped right away.

I was almost at 4 months before it stopped. My doctor had me up my dose slightly because I was having it about every 2 weeks (nightmare!) and once I upped slightly it went away and hasn't come back. I have experienced no symptoms of having it (like cramping) either.

It took about a month for me. No PMS or cramps since then.

I selected "other" since it stopped at about 3 months but returned twice after that - once at 6 months and once at 11 months. uuuuggghhh

I don't really know. I've only been on T for a month and a bit, and my period was irregular before this. So I won't know if it's stopped unless I get a period sometime in the future.

Took about 8 months for me...became more and more intermittent and lighter though, until at the end it was barely even worth any trouble.  However I was in the middle of a move around May and didn't realize my T had run out until about a week prior to the move, and decided to wait until I moved to order it again, and so on and so forth until it ended up being around 6 weeks between my shots.  About a day after I finally got my T and administered it, I guess I was too late because I got my period...and it was terrible.  It lasted about two weeks and was the most painful one I've ever had...make sure you keep up with T!  I'll never make that mistake again!

I selected "other" because I wanted to see the results. lol.  I'm not on T yet.

Mine stopped right away, but I swear I still get PMS moods and tiredness.

I had my first shot September 20th, 2010, I got my period maybe 4 days after that shot.  I havent had a period since. I had one super bad hotflash in the middle of class once a few weeks in but thats the only one that I had.

I'm not on T but I am on hormone blockers, got my period a couple days after my shot so I guess I was due anyway- which will make it easy to judge when it's going to stop I guess, since the shots are monthly. Less mood swings though. Might help to know when a period generally naturally stops after the bad hormones are taken away? I'll let you know :)

It will be a good feeling to know that once they stop for me on hormone blockers, however long that will take- which I am on for a year (argh) - that they shouldn't have a reason to come back again seeing as I'll be on T after that.

When I reached menopause. Thank god it was early. (Oops, thank nature/genetics/circumstances.)

I started T at the end of Nov and had my last period the week after in the Dec and like others it was weird and only lasted a few days. It hasn't been back since (thank whoever!) though I do get intermittent cramps similar to what I used to get at that time of the month. But these pains are not in any pattern ie they're not once a month. They sometimes come on when I am excited, or don't get to go to the bathroom and have to hold, or just whenever it feels like it really. There was a time I was getting the cramps once a week and I was getting worried. Saw the docs at the women's and children's dept at the local hospital (as much fun as it sounds I assure you) to see about a hysto and will be having that in the next few months. I had to refuse any tests they wanted to do apart from ultra sound. I really just cant have that area touched and absolutely nothing goes inside so, safest thing really for me to have it all out. And that's my guarantee to never have this ghastly visitor ever again.

Hope it stops soon man..

I really should have kept a log about my transition (can't even remember when I started, April 2009?!? ???) pretty sure mine stopped within 3 months and I started on a really low dose.

I never had another period after my first injection. I think I was pretty lucky.
