I told one of the guys at about me transitioning because of the whole gay rumor thing. After he realized I like girls he was okay with it. I have to work next to him every day and I could feel his homophobia. He said, if that is all I am doing he has no problem with it. It's gay guys like the one that lied about me he can't stand to be around.
I also asked him what reinforced him to believe that I was gay? He said all the feminine stuff I do and the clothes I wear. I smiled and thinked him for using the word feminine. It may not be passing but it sure does show. I can't wait for the looks to go with what I do have.

Glad it worked out for you.  He'll be glad he doesn't have to worry that  you will  catch him perving on some hot chick who walks in to where you work!

I agree it doesn't matter one bit, it's their problem. Probably because it's the closest thing they could reach for and say to defend their masculinity from a perceived threat (your transition reflecting on them...). People.

last weekend at the bar a gay guy came up to me and shook my hand and asked if I was gay. I said no I am transitioning from male to female. He wiped is hand on his pants like it had crap on or something then walked a way. That's okay about hour later a guy shoved a dollar in my bra. Lol. Lesbians seem to take to me okay one even bought a couple beers for me.
