Hello everyone! My name is Jackie. I'm 20 years old, MtF, from Duluth, MN. I just moved into a friend's house after about a month of homelessness and I'm finally able to start looking at starting transition as a possibility in the very near future (which is fantastic news because I was so frustrated with this that it caused a great deal of depression for several years.) But things are looking up! I don't have a job yet, but I've got plenty of applications out. I've been going to a very open-minded gay men's support group for a couple of weeks now since there is no TG/TS support here, and it's been helping quite a lot. My old gender therapist (I was seeing her in 2009) isn't able to help me out due to my situation, but I've got an appointment with a counselor through a community clinic coming up soon. And my first goal right now is to be able to finance a couple sessions of electrolysis a month.
SOOO... I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people through this site, because if there's one thing I need it's people who I can actually talk to. Haha.
