Chaz Bono fulfills the part of transgender role model quite well

http://www.baywindows.com/index.php?ch=columnists&sc=reality_check&sc2=&sc3=&id=124298I already had a newfound respect for Chaz Bono after watching him in the documentary Becoming Chaz in which he laid bare the reasoning and processes behind his decision to permanently leave behind Chastity Bono, daughter of pop icon Cher, and become Chaz, the person's he's always known to be inside of him.
Those of us who've followed Cher's life and career and have admired from a fan's perspective her steely resolve in the face of all manner of setbacks to live her life on her own terms, were able to see in Becoming Chaz that she was able to impart some of those admirable qualities to her eldest son.
