I have been waiting for what seems like so long to go see it and it's finally coming out to theatres tomorrow. My sister called me and told me she is going too and I asked "oh you're bringing [kid's name], I thought she would be too young?" she was like "hahah no I am going for myself!" hahah that made me feel better because no one else really seems to be excited about it.
Thinking back, I believe it was in 1994 when it was released in theatres, so I was about 7 so you can see why I really want to experience it on the big screen again. Don't really care much for the 3D part, I would be going regardless.
Also, not to be a huge downer, Saturday oddly marks ten years since my (biological) father passed away.. (and I still feel responsible for it)
Good thing I will be wearing 3D glasses so no one can see me cry my eyes out.
Anyone else going to see the Lion King in theatres?
