Gender Related Cartoon Episode

Hi ladies! Just popping in to leave you with another link. 🙂

For the first time in ages I remembered an episode of a cartoon I once watched (Lloyd in Space), in which there is an alien who is born genderless, and must choose their gender when they turn 13. Today I decided to go and look it up, and here it is!

I think they handled the whole thing really well! I got a little disheartened when the whole 'boy activities/girl activities' thing came up, but then lo and behold, they even managed to get that right!

I really recommend watching it, it left me with a bit of a smile. 🙂

I really liked it - though there's still this under-vibe of "you're this, or you're that - and if you're this, you behave this way, and if you're that, you behave that way" that I'd have liked to see shaken up more. I hope Zoid doesn't limit his/her options too much 🙂.

When I saw that it was 22 minutes I was like  but I am not disappointed that I watched the whole thing. That was such a nice cartoon. Thank you for sharing that.

Though the whole, "Sexual Orientation determines gender" thing seemed a bit misguided. But it was still a great cartoon.
