Hannah's story of love, hate and transitioning

'Hannah', a transgender woman living in the Wide Bay Burnett, shares her story of love, hate, and transitioning from male to female.

"Three years of age was when I first realised that something was different," remembers Hannah (not her real name). "I didn't understand the concept or anything behind it, I just knew I was different.

"All I wanted to do was wear the clothing my female cousin could, and I was never allowed to. I couldn't understand why."
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
