i was curious how many sessions do you need to have to see anything happen?
because i recently went and had a lazor session done and i know it's my first one but i was expecting something small to atleast happen.
but nothing has happened so anyone know when i will see results?
and is it a waste untill i get on hormones or???

How long ago was your session? It takes about two weeks for the hair to shed. Also, some technicians start at a lower level of laser to see how your skin reacts and they increase it as you continue treatments, so the first session might not give very dramatic results.

I had MAJOR results from just my first session. Now 5 sessions in I have no more hair growing on my neck, and my mustache/chin area is very thin.

Definitely one of those YMMV situations.  I took two sessions before I noticed marked changes, simply because I didn't know what to expect.  It is important to stick to the treatment schedule so that  you catch the follicles at the correct stage of their growth cycle.

The affect is certainly improved once you are on AAs. But I saw effects after my first session, but it does take several days. Keep to the cycle as Karen said because you have to get the little sods as they sprout. I think I had 9 sessions and I'm clear on the face, boobs and tummy. My face cleared quite well so I used my session time for other areas. Upper lip has a few and I had a hard hit at them about 8 weeks ago. A few are returning to face being blasted to oblivion.

Do make sure you are being zapped by people who are into hair removal and not hair control. My laser place specialises in treating woman with polycystic fibrosis, they are not a 'beauty salon' as such they are into hair removal so they use the high power machine and they are all registered nurses trained to use them, rather than beauticians who may be using lower power machines to 'spot clean'.

Oh also ask the girls about skin care, my girls were so good on showing me good facial care I was totally taken aback, and my skin has improved heaps. And simple day care not the weird facial polymer cure every wrinkle crap.

Good Luck and happy follicle zapping
