If I was to get bottom surgery would I be able to have an orgasm or feel what it's like to actually be in someone? I have a lot of questions about surgery and I don't know how to ask them all. Is their a website that could explain this to me?
Push it baby, push it baby, out of control, I got my gun cocked tight and I'm ready to blow. ;)

Google Metoidioplasty and Phalloplasty surgery.

Metoidioplasty with give you, or rather retain clitoral feeling, but the result is too short for penetration.

Phalloplasty will allow penetration (when 'pumped up') but you will loose clitoral feeling, since nerves can't be grown for ~ 3 or 4 inches - yet.

YMMV

Thanks. I looked it up and I've decided to wait until they figure out a way to put feeling in all of it before I even consider getting it. Lol.

Hi Kentrie,
Nerve tissue growth is not too far away. I was listening to a medical programme on ABC (Aust) National radio the other day where they were discussing body part transplants. Typically arms, legs, fingers etc. and they have made substantial progress in regrowing nerve tissue so as to provide feeling in the new limb and linking the correct nerve endings from the non donor body. I'll see if I can find a link, otherwise you can search for it at www.abc.net.au/radio
I wish you the very best in your journey.
Lotsa luv
Catherine

I disagree here, with the last part. Both from personal experience and from talking to other guys who have been on T for a while and are pre-op. Even with just testosterone's effects and no surgery, it is possible for a lot of guys to achieve penetration. Sure, it's not going to be so humongous that it stretches her (or him, for that matter) to the breaking point or anything, and it is unlikely to even be the same as an average guy, but it's certainly possible even without surgery, and (I would imagine) even more possible with surgery. (I would say 2 or 3 inches is enough for penetration to some degree.)

Now, it's not a guarantee for EVERY guy by any means, but I have seen transguy penises that have undergone metoidioplasty that definitely look big enough for penetration and where their owners have claimed that they can penetrate.

And for those guys who want to look at other transguy's (post-op) dicks for a general idea, check out http://www.transbucket.com/. As you can see, results vary A LOT.

There are also some men who claim to retain sensation after phalloplasty. I mean, as I understand it, some of the original penis is retained so they must have some sensation, I imagine. It seems to just vary hugely.

I think what we need is a post-op guy to come here and talk. It seems like there's no guys in this section of the board. Please, Jesus, send us one.

Hi all,
maybe one more point of interest to mention.
I had sex (then still pre-op MtF) with a gay male. Well he was short, very short, say max 2 ½", so penetration was out, at least anal, I was there, right?!

BUT, it had not effect him having enough enjoyment to ejaculate, and that more then once.

So, is penetration the be and end all? In this case, his case, it was no issue. If I translate that back to the OP's question it might add some perspective and also to some of the other responses.

Enjoy,
Axelle

Indeed, it's not the end all, be all, etc. One can definitely work around it and I think most if us should strive to figure out creative alternate ways instead of just the old "in and out" all the time. However, penetration is a nice thing to be able to do, especially if you're one of those very "top" sorts of people, and a lot of guys are.

Just being a stickler for accuracy. *cough* Usually transguys use different terminology for their naughty bits than non-FTM's do. This would be the very technical, officially-agreed-upon term.
