Binders don't work on me.

I have one tritop and one 997 from Underworks. I might as well not bind at all because they hardly bind a thing.

I know so many guys swear by Underworks binders, but they're not doing anything for me.

I've tried moving my boobs around to see if they bind better in different positions and I've folded my 997 up for the extra compression but it doesn't do anything.

I was going to buy another 997, but I figured what's the point if it's not going to work.

What I've been doing, since the start of summer, is wearing my 997 and then using ace bandage over it. This seems to work pretty well, but I had already damaged my lungs bad from using ace bandage before, so I'm really trying to not use it. But in all honesty, my chest being flat means more to me than my health.

Although something tells me that healthproblems 'cause of binding can cause problems with the surgery. Though it could be that my mind is making it up..

On the whole.. can't say much about it. Are you a big chested guy? Have you got a picture? Maybe your dysphoria makes it look a lot worse than it is.

If you're bigger chested you'll need something like the 983 from Underworks. A triple compression shirt. The doubles just don't do it for us bigger guys.

Darrin, you're talking about the tri-top then? Do you have it? If so, how does that work for you (in compared to another maybe) but also it being mid-length. Does it roll up, how much pressure does it put on your mid-section, how uncomfortable is it?

My boyfriend is stealth at school atm but being extremely tense 'cause he doesn't dare to take off his blouse and just walk around in a T-shirt. He is rather big chested though it doesn't show that bad. I've shown him cis guys that have a chest that looks like his and all, so he knows, he just needs that extra bid of confidence so I want to get him a new binder and I'm looking for the right one.

Could you post a photo of yourself binding so we could see how it works on you?  are you sure it's not binding or are you being a bad critique of yourself?  I know sometimes if I'm having a bad day or a lot of dysphoria I seem to feel more selfconcious of my chest.

Please don't use ACE bandages.  It may mean more to you than your health to be flat but you definitely won't be able to be even semi flat if you damage yourself so bad you can't bind at all.

What size are you? How dense/saggy is your chest? Can you post comparison pictures (same angle, same shirt, same lighting, different binding methods and no binding)?

I do have the tri-top and it does roll up some, but I can't notice it, really. I've only had the 988 which sucks for bigger guys. As far as I'm concerned, if you're big, a tri-top is the way to go. I'm somewhere around a 40 DDD so, a double compression won't work on me AT ALL. I'm afraid of going with something like love boat because of their price tag and possibly getting the wrong size. T-kingdom I heard only really works for smaller dudes.
