Was wondering if you could help me figure a baseline cost to save up...

I am probably going to get a trech shave, a jaw reconstruction, a slight nose job, and maybe a chin implant.

I am currently saving for SRS, but of course, seeing as that I do not make any money, that is going to have to happen after the collapse of the government economic system and the fall of the world into darkness.... (long story)... But I think that ffs is something that I can probably get sooner rather than later. (depending on pricing)

I am in a suburb of the Capital of Minnesota (St. Paul) -> Oakdale. I would prefer somewhere driving distance, but a short plane trip is do able.

Anyone have any info for me?

If you could post a good picture, it would be easier to make any suggestions as to what you may need. Also, make sure you differentiate between what is needed for passability vs. what is wanted for percieved beauty.  From what I can see from your avater, You don't appear to need anything but it's also a pretty small picture.

I snapped 3 angles real quick. Sorry about my 5 o'clock shadow it has been 2 days since I last shaved (giving the face a rest to heal the razor burn)

GRS is typically cheaper than FFS.  About the highest price I've seen for GRS is in the low $20K range.  I've seen double that for FFS.

Rhino ranges in the $6K region.  A trach shave is around $3K.  A chin implant could be as much as $5K-7K.  And jaw work?  That depends on how much work you want.

My opinion is you don't really need FFS.  When I saw your pic I had to re-read your post to see if you were actually GG and I read it wrong.  Your face is already very passable.  Getting rid of facial hair and having a good female voice will go a lot farther in being passable.

If you're hell bent on FFS, there are a few doctors you can call and get some figures.  Jeffery Speigel in Boston, MA; Mark Zukowski in Wilmette, IL; Raymond Konior in Oakbrook Terrace, IL; Douglas Ousterhaut in San Francisco, CA; Joel Back in San Mateo, CA.  I'm sure you can get a reliable ballpark figure from some of them.

Something you might want to consider is first going the Virtual FFS route.  Alexandria is very knowledgeable about procedures and can take pictures of you and generate realistic "after" pictures of how you would look with certain procedures.  The virtuals are also a great tool when discussing things with your doctor.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Hehe, passing. I do that very well. Facial hair grows so slowly I can shave every other day and if I put on a light layer of foundation, get away with it no problem... My voice is 100% passable >> *points you to her youtube blog* http://youtube.com/user/ChristinaDream/ <<

I had no idea facial surgery was more! Why do so many girls go for FFS first then I wonder?

looks like I will not be able to afford either facial or srs. :) Too bad you can't steal surgery. xD

I honestly can't find a single thing that I'd even suggest for cosmetic reasons much less FFS. I'd pay a LOT of money to look like that! lol   ;D

Michelle.

Lots of girls add a procedure onto SRS. Breast Augmentation or Trach Shave seem to be the most popular.

Rough / average numbers:

trach shave - $3-4K
jaw reconstruction - $2-$6K
slight nose job - Slight or not, it's a nose Job - $4-6K
chin implant - $2K

Check out Minneapolis Plastic Surgery, LTD. if you want to save money on travel & hotel.  I have never been or seen any of their results, but totally worth a consult

I choose Dr Spiegel in Boston to meet the requirements I desired from FFS.  My bill was $38K, but i had additional procedures preformed.

Ask questions from people that have been through FFS, you will receive the best advice.
