Interesting. The author is all over the map, but I wonder if people who have not had to deal with those issues would "get" what she is saying.

I think she's bisexual and doesn't get that not everybody is.  Because if you're bi, then obviously you can choose to be in a gay couple or a straight couple, and potentially be happy, which seems to be her point.  She seems close-minded, actually.

I am bisexual and do not understand the straight or gay mindset.
But I don't make an issue of it.

Exactly what I thought when I read it.  Except instead of seeing her as close-minded I felt she was trying to be controversial so as to get people riled.
