Tennessee is really horrible when it comes to certain healthcare branches, wether it's therapy, endocrinology, cosmetic skin care, plastic surgery, hairdressers, whatever you can name that has to do with transitioning or cosmetics, it seems this state has some of the most discriminatory, insensitive, uncaring doctors out there. You'd especially think Nashville, being the "Music City" of the country, home to all sorts of music and film stars, would be very progressive toward all these issues, but it always seems like it's the exact opposite. All the professionals from all corners of the cosmetic and body field seem to want to keep the "normal people" as "normal" as possible; it's almost like you have to be an actress or singer before anyone will truly help you here. If you're not famous, the professionals are like "I see nothing wrong with you, get outta here/spend $125 on this useless product I invented."
Hopefully we both can find a informed consent clinic somewhere in Tennessee....
