Quote from: Miss Placed on September 27, 2005, 02:55:36 AMsome education please, a Yank is typically someone from the NE of the USA?

Pretty much, yeah.
To the rest of the world, Yankee means American.
To Americans as a whole, Yankee means Northerner.
To Northerners, Yankee means New Englander.
To New Englanders, Yankee means the rural population of New England.
Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride

Also interesting to note: a large percentage of people do not report their location (or age) on their profile page.

Technically I guess I am not actually on a continent, but on an island off the coast of an island continent.  But then I am also pedantic. :D

Europe, Slovenia. :)

It's interesting to see that there aren't many Europeans, and very little asians. Guess they frequent local boards more (probably due to language, culture, and ... Other things).

Sad Girl

Originally from a dangerous to trans country in Middle East, now in Spain. So I voted Europe, no more Asia.
