ACLU Lends Support to Transgender Elementary School Student

http://tempdns.justout.com/?p=40861The American Civil Liberties Union announced its support Friday of a 7-year-old transgender student's efforts to get access to the boy's restroom at his Georgia school, The GA Voice reports.
The boy's father, Tommy Theollyn, says his son's teacher was supportive when they bet before the school year began, but that the district's superintendent told him his son must use the girl's restroom.
