Dear Friends of the Beeline,

A few days ago, I sent out an alert regarding the proposed "gender identity" (transgender) policy for Arizona community colleges. (The original alert is at the very bottom of this page.) After sending the alert, I received a number of passionate responses.  Several people thanked me for letting them know of the problem, and some people have asked why we would encourage opposition against a policy aimed at preventing discrimination.

One email noted that the LDS Church supported a non-discrimination ordinance in Salt Lake City,  and they asked if opposing this AZ policy might be counter to the Church's position.
